week 7 (term 4)

in this day, we saw a group performance from the Lucky's group. they had to perform once more since Gloria haven't done her assessment. so, we watched it. i think their group was the best group since the singer and the instruments were playing cooperatively on the stage. after that we studied on playing the scales on guitar. since i am not good at playing the scales, i will practice on it.

in this meeting, we did the scale identifying by listening directly. then, we did a rehearsal on the scales. in the rehearsal, i played three scales using my guitar. i think i didn't at my best. so, i will practice more on playing the scales since it will be the assessment for the semester test.

week 6 (Term 4)

in this meeting, we reviewed on the commercial jingle making. after that, we discussed about G clef and F clef. then, my teacher showed us on how to convert the jingle into a midi file. since i haven't submit the final jingle, i will finish the jingle and submit it on Friday.

in this day, my teacher told us on our journal reflection score. i got 10 for this journal reflection score. after that, we did an exercise on music signs such as notes and rest signs. i got 16 for the exercise. since i forgot to finish m commercial jingle, i will finish it and send it through email.

Today was our assessment day for the group performance. Before we did the performance, we had done a fifteen minutes practice first. My group was the first group who held the assessment, so I was very nervous. Fortunately, I didn’t do any mistakes on the performance and I also saw my team did their job very well and cooperatively. So, I think my group did a great job. After the assessments had finished, we gave our commentaries to the other groups. Overall, the other groups thought that we did it quite well. Since I haven’t updated the practice video so I will update it since it will be checked next Tuesday.

Week 4 (Term 4)

In this day, we did a review on the sixteen bars Finale homework. Unfortunately, I did not do the task since I did not have enough time to do the homework. We also reviewed the blog updating. There was a problem on my video updating. The problem is that I did not update my practice video. So, I will make the video for my blog and make the sixteen bars commercial jingle task.

At this time, we saw some examples of commercial jingles which are made by the B,C,and F class students. I think they did it very well. After that, my teacher showed us how to insert chords using Finale software. Then, we continued our work on commercial jingle until eight bars. Since I have to finish the commercial jingle task at May, I will finish my work on commercial jingle task.
